I spent this past week at Coverings in Atlanta, GA. In case you are not familiar, Coverings is the premiere convention for the stone and tile industry. (If you work in the business, I highly recommend attending.) Somehow they are able to pack into four days just about every top spokesperson, product, innovation and educational experience you could ever need to succeed in our industry. I look forward to it every year, and this year was no exception.
I have to say I think that the organizers outdid themselves this year. There were over 900 global exhibitors, 20,000 tile attendees and 70 free education seminars, including classes on social media, which seemed to be the unofficial theme of this year’s convention.
My favorite part, of course, was the new products. I tried to see as many of them as possible over the three days I was there. In between asking questions and appointments, I tried to snap a few pictures of some of my new favorite styles to share with you.
